Staff officer's sword 1852-55. Mounted in bronze and horn. Round pommel with imperial eagle, joint arch with pierced thunderbolt decoration for passing the lanyard, olive branch cruise and straight quillon with stylized acanthus decoration. Top with imperial eagle flanked by six pennants. Folding keyboard. Horn spindle, watermark missing. Straight, diamond-shaped blade from the Klingenthal par Couleaux Cie factory. Antique scabbard. Total length: 95 cm France, Second Empire period
