Officer's sword, 18th century. Musketeer-style brass mounting. The body knot features a donkey step, a straight quillon and a joint arch connecting an olive pommel. Double bridge top forming a shell. Wooden spindle covered with a basane insert. Straight flat blade engraved at the quarter with a character profile in a medallion on an azure background and under a crown, radiant sun and interlacing. No scabbard. Total length: 91.5 cm. France, Ancien Régime period.
