Boundary clock in yellow Sienna marble with gilt bronze ornamentation. The circular bronze dial, partly enamelled in white, shows the hours in Roman numerals, the bezel decorated with the signs of the Zodiac and adorned with a floral garland and ribbons. The body features an allegory of Study in the guise of a man reading by an oil lamp. Empire period (Dim.: Height 45.5 cm; Base 13x22 cm) (one gilded bronze rod to be refixed)
