Six incomplete uncollated folio volumes, numerous plates (foxing, spotting) (dim. 47x30 cm) Duhamel du Monceau was a botanist and agronomist, opposed to the Encyclopedists, and president of the Académie des Sciences. Director of the Department of Prints and Photography at the Bibliothèque nationale (1977 to 1981), President of the Comité national de la gravure française and Director of Nouvelles de l'estampe (1978 to 1982).
