CHINA, late 19th-early 20th century
Important polychrome and gilded wood pagoda, with three levels on a high octagonal base supported by a lotus, the first two levels resting on a terrace, octagonal for the first and quadrangular for the second, columns supporting the roofs with recesses and corbels, the last level, closed, crowned by a lotus bud; the whole can be dismantled into several parts.
(Small chips and accidents, wear, elements to be refixed, including bells)
Total height: 190 cm - Max. width: ca. 50 cm
Provenance: brought back from China by intendant-general Chayrou de Lacombe in the early 20th century, and by descent
