Large griotte marble cassolette in the form of a Medici vase - Lot 76
Large griotte marble cassolette in the form of a Medici vase decorated with gadroons and torsos, resting on a pedestal on a square base. Gilt bronze flame and griffin handles. 19th century (height 75 cm) (some wear to the gilding). A similar model appears on a door overmantel painting in the Palais Rohan in Strasbourg.
