Court sword, 18th century. Openwork and chased bronze frame with dot motifs and bouquets of flowers. Olive pommel, joint bow missing. Double pontas shell, finely openwork, following the frame. Wooden spindle covered with alternating double copper filigree. Long straight blade with triangular cross-section, quarter engraved. SF, oxidation. Total length: 99cm. France, Early Louis XV period. Sword probably lightened for dueling practice.
