Hussar saber, late 18th century. Brass mounting decorated with lines. Long-tail cap, flat joint bow and curved quillon. Leather-covered wooden spindle with double copper filigree. Curved blade with shortened throat, probably for reuse in the infantry. Old restoration to the joint bow. SF, Overall length: 86cm. France, French Revolution period.
