of a palmette from which three branches decorated with lines
(accident to the quillon).
Wooden spindle covered with filigreed basane (watermark detached).
Curved blade with groove and gutter engraved in a cartouche "GENDARMERIE ROYALE".
Iron scabbard with two bracelets.
