MANUFACTURE DE SEVRES, in the taste of. Porcelain vase in the form of an amphora, decorated in reserves with a gallant scene in a turquoise cabochon surround and a pair of birds in a ruined landscape, the furnace blue or Sèvres blue background decorated with foliage scrolls. The interior, the leafy handles, the pedestal decorated with acanthus leaves and the square base in gilt bronze. Napoleon III period (H.: 22.5 cm) (slight wear to the gilding in the decoration, and a few turquoise cabochons missing).
