WEDGWOOD, attributed to. Large jasperware cheese bell, plain and tinted blue (Portland blue), with rotating white cookie decoration of antique figures including a lyre player, the base and neck of the bell decorated with a coordinated frieze of flowers including ipomées. The acorn-shaped grip is decorated with palmettes. Unmarked. 19th c. (H. (total): 28 cm - Diam. (tray): 28 cm - Diam. (bell): 22.5 cm) (minor damage to the ornamentation at the top, to the drape of one of the figures, and firing cracks).
