Ecole de Nancy. Pair of chairs in molded wood, the Y-shaped back and seat upholstered in stamped leather with iris decoration, resting on four slightly curved and ribbed legs, the bars running from the top of the back legs to the front legs. Art Nouveau period, circa 1900. Art Nouveau period, circa 1900 (Dim.: 92.5 x 40 x 41.5 cm - H. (seat): 45 cm). Back similar to a chair by Louis Majorelle. Legs reminiscent of certain chair models by Eugène Gaillard.
