Portico-shaped pendulum-reliquary in white marble and gilded bronze, the uprights with smooth-stemmed columns, surmounted by an entablature and adorned with baluster vases. The whole is crowned by a post bearing the Latin inscription "Satis Tibi Patriae Parum". The sphere with enamelled inscription "SIR EDWD WM James OB 16 NOV 1792 AE 17YS". The reverse bears the English inscription "What moment granted man without account". Circular dial with white enamel background, hours in Arabic numerals. Signed PIOLAINE A PARIS. Louis XVI period.
