Memories of Lieutenant Vialatte, FAFL navigating officer. Set of documents tracing the military career of André Vialatte (Marseille1917-2007). Active officer, polytechnician, Air Force engineer, Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor, DFC, six commendations, wounded in the war. Awarded his observer's certificate in 1939, after the French campaign and his demobilization, he resumed his studies at Sup Aéro. As soon as the free zone was invaded, he joined an escape network via Spain. Interned at Miranda, he was released in May 1943, flew to Morocco, then embarked for England and joined the FAFL, as a navigating officer in the Guyenne bombing group.
