CANTON. Pair of porcelain baluster vases with polychrome decoration in reserves of palace scenes alternating with birds and insects in branches, in a frame of floral motifs. The handles are in the shape of Buddhist lions and the shoulder is decorated with gilded lizards. China, late 19th century. Mounted as a lamp but not pierced. (Height 35 cm)
