Fr- Mle 1892 bayonet saber. Steel handle with two riveted vulcanized fiber plates. Socketed crossbow with forward quillon. Straight blade with wide gutter. Sheet steel scabbard with the same number as the bayonet. Scabbard slightly oxidized and painted. Recently discovered in the attic of a house in Origny Sainte Benoite, Aisne.
