Model 1822 light cavalry troop saber. Cap with bead, joint arc with number 1051 from which three branches join the plate. Slightly deformed plate tail. Wooden buttstock covered with watermarked leather. Curved blade with hollow sides ending in two gutters (accident to tip). Steel scabbard with two straps. Total length: 110 cm. France, mid-19th century. Complete with buffalo hanger marked "12981 - 2028".
