Barisoni, Light cavalry troop saber model AN XI. Brass hunter-style mounting. Long-tail cap joined to the hilt. Jointed bow with control stamp, from which two secondary limbs stand out. Almond-shaped crosspiece and drop-shaped quillon. Wooden buttstock covered with filigree leather, lacking an auricle on the inside. Curved blade with throat marked BARISONI. Heavy scabbard with two bracelets and suspension rings. Missing bowl, point re-cut. Total length: 94 cm. French occupation in Italy, First Empire period.
