Light cavalry officer's saber. Brass mounting. Melon-cut cap, then square-cut. Straight columnar joint bow and ellipse-shaped cruise. Wooden spindle with alternating double filigree. Curved grooved blade (cleaned). Brass whip with two bracelets and suspension rings. It is richly and finely chased with vegetal decorations. Total length: 97 cm France, Consulate / Empire period.
