Hussar officer's saber. Brass mounting. Cap decorated with long-tail features assembled on the hilt. Round jointed bow, modified cruise and straight quillon. Wooden buttstock covered with copper-watermarked basane. English blade with curved grip, groove, gutter and counter-edge. HARVEY" signature. Leather-covered wooden whorl with two brass fittings (one of which is probably an old original). Total length: 102 France, Consulate / Empire period.
