Montmorency-style cavalry officer's saber. Montmorency-style brass and ebony mounting. Long-tailed lion's head cap joined to the hilt. Joining arch ending in the plate from which two secondary branches set the arms of France under a royal crown. Squared ebony spindle. Straight blade with "AP" hallmark for Paris arsenal. Leather scabbard with three brass fittings and two suspension rings. Probably composite. Total length : France, constitutional monarchy period.
