Amusing molded and fluted oak chess table with square checkerboard top, decorated with a marquetry border and dice in two corners. The asymmetrical base is curved on one side and straight on the other, extending into a base echoing the top and flanked by a selette with three asymmetrical trays on which to place the chess counter. Modernist work from the 1940's. (Dim.: 76 x 110 x 66 cm)
