JAPAN, Edo period, 18th-19th century Small bronze vase with long neck and low body decorated in light relief with a rooster and a hen among rocks and flowers, the ringed neck enhanced by two dragon-shaped handles. (Wear and tear, depatinated) H. 17 cm Provenance: brought back from Japan by intendant-general Chayrou de Lacombe in the early 20th century, and by descent.
