A finely chased and gilded bronze sconce decorated with a coat of arms in a belt supported by a lion and a leopard and stamped with a marquis's crown, all set on foliate finials. The reverse is signed S. Roberts. English work of the 19th century (Dim.: 16 x 17.5 cm) (a finial is missing from the crown).
