GB - British officer's saber, Edwardian VII period. Cut-iron and shagreen mounting. Oval pommel, cap with long squared tail, assembled at the ferrule. Guard in openwork shell with vegetal decoration and King Edward VII's cypher. Straight blade, grooved on one half and acid-etched on the other third (oxidation). Brown leather-covered wooden scabbard (end missing). Total length: 98.5 cm. United Kingdom, Early 20th century.
