US- British MkI helmet of the 164th Field Artillery Regiment of the 89th Infantry Division. Steel shell covered with olive green anti-reflective paint, with waxed canvas interior, the rubber shock absorber is present, missing the bottom felt cloth. A name inscribed in ink on the cap. The 89th Division took part in the reduction of the St Mihiel salient and the Meuse-Argonne offensive in October-November 1918.
