US- M1 helmet shell of the 1st Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Marne Division. Fixed lugs, no chinstrap, snap ring at front. White and blue divisional insignia on sides. Large ace of spades identifying the 1/7th Battalion on the back. Heavy interior oxidation, shell pierced on top. Helmet recovered in the Doubs region.
