Barrette brooch decorated with an eagle, wings spread, in yellow gold (750 thousandths), holding in its beak a pendant set with a small old-cut diamond. Numbered 2477 and 6225. Eagle head hallmark. Oxidation. Trace of soldering (stem support). Later tassel. Diamond with chips. Length: 74 mm. PB: 11.5g Probably a former "Charognard" badge of the French Air Force, circa 1914.
