Pair of pistols attributed to the navy mounted in silver by Cramont in Bordeaux, 18th century. Flintlock locks plated with silver leaf and signed "Cramont À Bordeaux" and converted to percussion. The barrels are fluted, then round, with reinforcing beads at the muzzle and sights. Walnut stock, finely inlaid with silver thread on the thumb, stock and butt. All silver fittings chased in the round. Restored barrel woods. Good mechanics, original length barrels. France, Louis XVI period. Category D weapon
