Strong and luxurious Spanish officer's pistol. Flat-bodied flintlock lock, Spanish hallmark in a cartouche. Round 20 mm muzzle barrel, bronzed, chased and gilded, decorated with a soldier, trophies of arms and drums. The stock is finely carved with brass-studded braces, rocaille, foliage and brass fillets. Cap decorated with a moustachioed man with glass eyes. Slight mechanical defect. Total length: 40 cm. Probably composite work, partly late 18th century. Category D weapon.
