Officer's sword with donkey step, Louis XV. Musketeer-style brass mounting. Olive pommel, shuttle joint arch joining the body knot from which the donkey step and flat drop-shaped quillon stand out. Double-bridged shell engraved "COL:THIERRY C:N38". Wooden spindle with brass filigree. Straight, full-length flattened blade, blued, engraved and gilded in thirds (remains). SF, oxidation. Total length: 91 cm. France, Early Louis XV period.
