Officer's sword model 1817 attributed to the colonial administration or military justice. Gilt bronze mounting. Round pommel with thunderbolt, chased joint bow and straight quillon in the extension. Keyboard with helmeted lictor beam on a background of two crossed muskets and ribbon. Set encircled by a laurel wreath on a background of six pennants, folding counter plate. Wooden spindle covered with filigree leather. Straight, diamond-shaped blade from the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal, dated March 1822. Total length: 101 cm. France, Restoration period.
