Officer's sword of the constitutional guard. Gilt bronze mounting. Helmet-shaped pommel with clustered joint. Amatit body knot with two small straight quillons ending in stylized buds. Beamed spindle and plate with imitation nailing around the edge (shortened inner side). Straight, single-edged blade with remains of engraving, one-third gilded chasing. No scabbard. Total length: 97 cm France, Constitutional Monarchy period.
