WEDGWOOD. Pair of covered jasperware pots, plain and tinted blue (Portland blue), with rotating white cookie decoration of putti, one holding a dove, another a rose, a third a bow and arrow, another playing a pipe, etc. The neck and base encircled by a laurel frieze. The neck and base are encircled by a laurel frieze. The lid has an acorn-shaped grip and radiant white cookie decoration of oak leaves and acorns. Engraved markings on the reverse: "Wedgwood" and "England". One dated 1891 on reverse. Late 19th century (H.: (chip to the neck of one of the pots, invisible once the lid is in place).
