WEDGWOOD. Set of two truncated cone-shaped candlesticks in plain jasperware cookie tinted blue (Portland blue), with rotating white cookie decoration of a mythological scene on the shaft featuring a lyre player and Orpheus for one and a lyre player and a figure holding a scroll for the second. Circular base with white cookie decoration of rosettes and foliate scrolls, neck surrounded by a foliate frieze. Wedgwood" and "England" debossed on reverse. Between 1891 and 1930 (H.: 20.5 and 21.3 cm) (two chips on the neck of one).
