REGAIN HOUSE. Elm dining set comprising an oval-top table on - Lot 539
REGAIN HOUSE. Elm dining set comprising an oval-top table on four straight legs, and four chairs with camel leather-covered backs and seats. Circa 1980 (Dim. (table): 3 x 106 x 215 cm) This piece of furniture, with its minimalist curves, lack of ornamentation and carved handles, is part of the Brutalist movement that marked post-war architecture and design. It can be compared with Charlotte Perriand's emblematic designs for the Les Arcs resort, and those of Pierre Chapo, who collaborated with Maison Regain.
