Rouvières in Paris. Gilded bronze clock, the white enameled dial, signed, showing the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals, surmounted by Jupiter in the guise of an eagle and Hebe drinking from a cup. Beside them are an ewer and a flower basket. The ensemble rests on a base adorned with two mascarons in medallions, Jupiter's thunderbolts and wings.
