Saxony. Steingewehr mod 1845 for infantry troops, still worn in 1914 by Train units. Brass handle stamped 107 RI "Prinz Johann Georg" of Leipzig. Strong blade from Lüneschloss in Solingen, good leather scabbard with brass fittings (clevis missing). Very good condition for the period.
