Camouflaged M1916 steel helmet, first-type headpiece with leather straps. Three leather pads in very good condition. Same leather strapping. The three padded cushions in the leather pad pockets are missing. Marking difficult to read but appears to be BF62. Camouflage three-tone fall camouflage (beige, brown and green) with black dividing lines. No chinstrap. Marking of the soldier's name in white paint on the nape of the neck: "Wassmer". Very nice camouflaged helmet.
