Photo album of brigadier, then maréchal des logis Georges Gabriel Viaud, assigned to the 49th Artillery Regiment on January 4, 1915. 100 photographs (4 x6 cm) from December 1915 to March 1917. Champagne and Somme fronts, Farman aircraft, crapouillots, artillery pieces, English tanks, Russian soldiers, sausages... enclosed is his service book (Viaud ended the war as a second lieutenant in the 59th R.A.), part of his 1915 class book, diary dated 10/27/18.
