Camille GAUTHIER (1870-1963) Paul POINSIGNON. Walnut bedroom with water lily decoration extending to the bronze drawer handles, comprising a double bed (without box spring), a marble-topped bedside cabinet with niche and one-leaf opening, and a mirror-backed wardrobe with beveled mirrors, opening with two leaves and two drawers in the lower section. Work of the Art Nouveau period. Art Nouveau period (Dim. (armoire): 250 x 50 x130 cm) (small chips, one handle missing on the bedside cabinet, and crack on the left-hand mirror-backed leaf of the armoire). This bedroom set from a home in the Oise region was part of a larger ensemble with a mirror and writing table dispersed separately in this sale.
